Introduction:
The meeting between Pakistan and China was held in Beijing province of the People’s Republic of China. The main members of the meeting were:
● General secretary of united nations
● Ambassador Nabeel Munir spearheaded Pakistan’s delegation
● Foreign ministry of China represented people republic of China
● Mr Shen Bo is director general of the department of conferences which are held internationally.
Several topics were synerged including investment opportunities, trade and also infrastructure development.
Regional peace and stability:
Both countries exchanged views on peace in Asia and the conflict between Israel and Iran. Both countries agreed to foment peace in Asia through intentional laws. Chinese officials emphasized the United States charter about human rights and peace prevailing. Pakistani officials emphasized on harmonious coexistence in the middle east region. Pakistani officials articulate how the two week ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel could result in a war.
Bilateral relations between Pakistan and China:
Both countries underscore on strengthening bilateral relations between Pakistan and China and to foster mutual relations between both countries. Both countries agreed to strong ties in many fields including health, trade and infrastructure development.
Trading opportunities and climate changes:
Pakistan and Chinese officials deliberate trade investment projects and enhance economic cooperation between both countries. Both countries also emphasised on innovative technologies for weather analysing and prediction to prognosis road accidents due to bad weather. Weather advancements and technologies is also a strategic approach of partnership between both countries.
Infrastructure development and railway tracks:
Both countries consensus on investing in railway track projects including ML1 motorway moderations and also development of gawadar port. This is a progression in railway projects. Both countries agreed on mutual terms to promote tourism in the country. China accentuated to invest in tourist sites of Pakistan to generate revenue.
Trilateral meeting between Pakistan, Bangladesh and China:
The trilateral summit between Pakistan, China and Bangladesh was held in Beijing province on 19 June 2025. Following members attended the meeting:
● Foreign minister of China sun de yong
● Foreign secretary of Bangladesh Rahul Alam.
● From Pakistan’s site amna baloch foreign secretary and imran ahmed attended the meeting.
Significance of the meeting:
All countries accentuated good relations between neighbourhood countries. A working group will be predetermined to address all the queries significantly. China acceded to increase investments with both countries and also to ensure regional stability. All countries agreed on mutual cooperation and shared interests and contributed to regional development.
SCO summit:
China also briefed Pakistan on the upcoming summit which will be held in July 2025. Foreign minister of China stressed on face to face meetings including both Pakistan and India foreign secretary. However on the other hand there is no unattainability of a one on one meeting between foreign ministers of both countries. From Pakistan’s site khuwaja Asif and on the other hand Rajnath Singh Indian foreign minister is attending the meeting. It’s the first time after the conflict that both countries’ officials are attending a conference. According to analysts, the presence of both countries foreign ministers in the same conference will give an opportunity to at least hear viewpoints of each other. National security advisors of Pakistan will also hold separate meetings with Chinese officials.

Advantages of Pakistan in SCO summit:
Pakistan is hosting the SCO summit which will help Pakistan to present its point of view internationally. Countries will discuss renewable energy sources which will help Pakistan to increase energy source programs. Through this program Pakistan will attract foreign investments and through this Pakistan can showcase its talent globally.
China Pakistan relations A new roadmap:
These new meetings are significant in highlighting the new establishment of relations between Pakistan and China. Investments in new projects will help Pakistan to promote terrorism and to generate significant revenue for a better economy. These projects will increase relationship ties between both countries.
Prime minister of Pakistan:
The Prime minister of Pakistan emphasized earlier that our strong allies are no more interested in giving financial aid now they want to establish strategic partnership with us. Now it can be seen Pakistan is investing in different projects with neighbours. This will help Pakistan to make their economy stable without relying on others. Through green development initiatives Pakistan economy will grow and discussions on security and strategic partnership.
Conclusion:
Through the SCO summit and multilateral conference Pakistan can present itself globally. Many analysts believe this will be an upset for India as Pakistan will be a main member in everyone’s eye in the summit. This meeting will help Pakistan to make strong relations with SCO states and to increase regional cooperation in multifaceted sectors. Pakistan will also cooperate on climate adaptation and also on projects to reduce risk adaptation in northern areas of Pakistan.
