- China:
There are many students who secure admission in china for mbbs.
Years: Your MBBS duration will be off 6.5 years including one year internship, six months 3 language course and five years of MBBS.
Difficulty level:
Many years have found Chinese language difficult but believe me you can ace it. Hsk 1 consists of 150 words , HSK 2 consists of 150 words and HSK 3 consists of 300 words. You have to remember 600 words in six months and after that you have to pass a language test only then you can qualify for MBBS. MBBS in China is comparatively easy as compared to the block system of Pakistan.
Scholarship and Fees structure: Many universities offer scholarships and the fee structure is Pakistani 13 lakh. The flight ticket price from China to Pakistan is around 80,000 pkr for one way trip and around 190,00-210,00 for round trip.
Chinese universities don’t allow part time jobs and if you want to work in China you have to find an online job for yourself.
- Austria: Austria is located in Europe. Not a majority but a few Pakistani students went to Austria for Education.
PHD degree: Many students choose Austria for PHD degrees as Austria provides different courses.
MBBS degree: Austria offers Mbbs in both English and German. You have to choose your University carefully. Mbbs in Austria is much more expensive than Pakistan as one Euro is 317 Pakistan rupees. Medical university of Vienna is the top class university of Austria. The course duration is six years including one year internship.
Ticket price and more:
If you are looking to visit your family on every vacation then you need around 2 lakh 10 thousand rupees for each trip. From the cities Salzburg and Vienna the ticket price will be around 2 lakh 40 thousand Pakistani rupees.
- Russia
Many Pakistani students choose Russia for mbbs too. Russia offers mbbs in English language consisting of ten semester duration ( 5 years) and one year internship. Each semester consists of four months and after one semester two month vacations are given.
Difficulty level : Mbbs in Russia is the same as in Pakistan. The semester system is in Russia while the block and annual system is in Pakistan. Their fee structure is low as compared to Pakistan with around 12-15 lakh fees per year.
Some points to remember while choosing foreign Mbbs:
First check if your University is registered with the World Health organisation and also if you come back to Pakistan then check it on the PMDC website. After that, find a good agent. Protect yourself from scams and fake people as it can create chaos and loss of money. Check their pass records with students and contact them for more visa guides and universities.
Try to choose a university with Pakistani students and also who offer English courses. If you learn that country’s language only then choose their own language MBBS. It might take a few months to settle there but trust the process and you will ace it. Try to connect with new people and make friendly relations with the teacher as the teacher can help you a lot to pass the paper.
You can check your country’s currency and then you can convert your currency into theirs.
For Example: The Yuan is the currency of China and the Euro is of Austria so you have to convert 1 euro in Pakistani rupees only then you can get correct information. Applying in universities is not an easy task, always consult with a good agent before applying.
