India General statement on Rafale Indus water treaty violation

General Anil Chauhan in a news interview confirmed the loss of jets during operation Sindoor but he didn’t specify the amount of jets.

Details: India strikes on Pakistan after blaming Pakistan for the pehalgham attack where 26 Indian citizens were killed and one citizen from Nepal. Pakistan refused and called Indian accusations false and baseless. Pakistan in response to the Indian operation shot down six Indian Rafale jets.

India bought those jets from France and according to Pakistan’s military debris of two rafale fell on the Indian border. India didn’t deny nor accept Pakistan’s accusations of shooting down Rafale jets.

General Anil Chauhan:

Anil Chauhan in a news interview said Indian air force jets were forced to land in opening hours of conflict but the reason behind these losses and mistakes is crucial. He denied Pakistan’s statement of 6 jets down and said these statements are baseless.

Where leaders from BJP accepted the defeat and said Pakistan shot down Indian jets including rafale during India’s operation known as Operation Sindoor. Just the day after the end of operation sindoor Indian air force chief told media that our all pilots are safe and the loss of jets are part of war. He didn’t accept Pakistan accusations of shooting down six Rafale jets.

General Anil Chauhan said after the lesson of losing jets on May 6 we striked on Pakistan with a large number of air bases to kill terrorists living in Pakistan. On the other hand Pakistan’s Military denied any loss of jets but they accepted that some air bases such as Noor Khan Air Base located in Rawalpindi Pakistan got hit but the losses were minimal. The Indian general added we learn our mistakes from the first day of strike and on the next few days we didn’t repeat our mistakes.

Shehbaz Sharif speech on World Glaciers Day:

Prime Minister of Pakistan shehbaz sharif confirmed the shooting down of six rafale jets. Shehbaz Sharif in a speech on world glaciers Day condemned India’s violation of the Indus water treaty and he called it weaponization of water.

India and Pakistan both officials said there is no danger of nuclear war between two countries. However politicians from Congress (Indian party) asked the government to share the exact number of Rafale jet losses and deaths.

Pakistan prime minister and army chief both called the Indus treaty as a red line for the country and they warned India to avoid chaos. On 30 May 2025 Shehbaz Sharif clearly said if the India water treaty broke it would result in serious consequences for India.

Shehbaz Sharif in a speech on World Glacier Day said that our 240 million population depends on water and we can’t accept such cruel policies. Pakistan’s Prime minister talked about how people’s lives are in danger because of such policies. He said a local living in Pakistan has nothing to do with politics.
