Tesla launched Robotaxi and this service will be available in Austin from 22 June 2025 according to Tesla company reports. 10-20 robotaxi models will be operated in a few areas under supervision of people. In the state of Texas this service will also be available from 22 June. According to Tesla after a few months of this year this service will be available in a few areas of California. Robotaxi will be available in Europe next year.
Robotaxi features and a new advancement in technology
According to reports this robotaxi will pick people from their location and will drop them at their desired location without interference of any human. As this technology will take time to be available for everyone in the first stage this technology will be available to Tesla employees and also select influencers can use this service.
Also in the safer areas this robotaxi will operate to ensure safety of the passengers and also to drop them timely and safely.
Tesla car model and advance features:
According to reports the first robotaxi initially used by passengers will be of model Y SUVs which is different from other Tesla car models. Tesla is also planning to introduce a cybercab which is the cab without steering wheels and pedals but it won’t be ready before next year.
The software installed in the cars will help robotaxi and Tesla to continuously update and refine the technology. The owner of company Elon Musk ensured that the safety of people matters to him the most and they will test whether the technology is reliable before expanding it to large scale for the use of everyone.
The Tesla company will also have to ensure the government and policy makers before launching it for people’s use.

Elon Musk emphasized that other companies have to license this technology from the Tesla company so that they can achieve their own autonomy goals. Elon musk said other companies will give licences when the robotaxi of Tesla will be widely spread. The Tesla company believes they will expand their Robotaxi nationwide to reach more people for the company’s growth and widespread use of this technology.
