Guide to secure Admission In Private Universities

Today we will talk about admissions and entry tests of different universities in Pakistan. ( Covering private universities of Pakistan)

Bahria University has campuses in Islamabad , Lahore and Karachi.

Courses: Bahria University offers many courses including computer science, artificial intelligence, law , finance and accounting, electrical engineering and management science. You can visit their website for your desired course update.

Entry test and interview:

Now the next step is your field entry test. Bahria University conducts their own test which includes math , English, general knowledge, physics , verbal reasoning and analytical reasoning. Many courses include their own specific entry test guidelines like for law you have to be prepared for General knowledge and past history.

The test will be of 100 marks and both entry test and fsc marks will make merit. After the test you will get a call for an interview and after this your course classes will start.

Admission dates: Fall admission 2025 will be opened in November 2025. They offer both spring and fall admissions .

2 Nust University:

Nust university is located in Islamabad Pakistan.

ourses: Just university offers many courses including business management, finance and accounting, architecture ( SADA nust) and many more.

Entry test: You can register for the entry test as online registration is started and it will end on 10 June 2025. CBNAT known as computer based nust aptitude test is generally conducted in Islamabad and Quetta while PBNET is generally for Karachi and Gilgit students who want to secure admission in Nust. PBNET is a paper -based test. SAT is also acceptable for just admissions and your SAT score is valid till two years.

3 LUMS University Lahore

LUMS is located in Lahore and it’s one of the best universities located in Pakistan.

Course’s: They offer business management, BS physiology, finance and accounting , computer science and many more courses.

Entry test: Ok so if you want to get admission in law you have to take the LAT which is known as the law admission test . You can register on the HEC website https://www.hec.gov.pk/ the LAT entry test. Students who want to apply for Science School of lumps you have to give SAT and LCAT. LUMS ‘own entry test consists of seven sections and you will have 25 minutes for every section. It includes English science and the last part is about paragraph writing.

4 Agha Khan University

Courses: They offer MBBS , BS , nursing , politics, economics and philosophy.

Entry test: They conduct their own entry test and interviews. You have to pass both the entry test and interview if you are looking to secure admission here. ( Check their website for your related course test marks and subject)

A good preference list: A good university plays a key role in your degree. Many students don’t get into a good university because of lack of counselling and self awareness. Let’s talk about a good preference so for instance if you are a resident of Lahore and looking for a computer science or business degree then LUMS is a good option. Just check their free structure as it’s an expensive university, their eligibility criteria and also test date.

If you are an art student you should apply in NCA https://m.nca.edu.pk/ they offer a large number of courses including arts subjects. If you are living in islamabad then apply to NUST , comsats , Quaid e Azam university ( if looking for a government university) , Air and Bahria University.
